Wabisuke ("The Wretched One")

Izuru Kira is the lieutenant of the 3rd Division. He is also formerly a member of the 5th Division and 4th Division. Izuru has blue eyes and shoulder-length blond hair that is combed into three points, with two in the back of his head and a third combed to cover his left eye. He also wears the standard Shinigami robes and the 3rd Division's lieutenant armband on his left arm.
Zanpakuto
Wabisuke ("The Wretched One") translated in the English manga as"the penitent one"). Wabisuke is very simple and plain in design. Its normal form is indistinguishable from a plain katana. The cross guard is a normal rectangular one, with only an omega design on the top and bottom half.
Shikai: its Shikai command is "Raise Your Head" (omote o agero). . When released, Wabisuke takes the form of a sword with a square hook that has the ability to double the weight of whatever it strikes. The effect is cumulative, so each following hit exponentially increases the weight of the target. Thus, after seven or eight blocked attacks, his opponents are unable to lift their own swords or even move their body, leaving them on the ground with their head bowed as though asking forgiveness. At this point Wabisuke's released form, a blade bent into a squared hook, comes into play, being used to decapitate the kneeling opponent.

Zanpakuto Spirit Form
Wabisuke's spirit takes the form of an emaciated, shirtless man. He carries a large metal ball on his left shoulder and Izuru's Shikai in his right hand. His pants resemble those of a Shinigami's shihakushōobut tied with chains instead of an obi. He is always seen with his head bowed down, letting his hair completely cover his face. The spirit also has a large stone tablet chained to his body that seems to weigh him down, as well as stones attached to his ankles; this is reflective of Wabisuke's abilities of doubling the weight of those struck by his blade.
Power and Abilities
At any time, Wabisuke can manifest the Shikai of his former self. In this form, Wabisuke's blade doubles the weight of any object it strikes. The ability can affect both inanimate objects and living beings, and is cumulative.
