Chojiro Sasakibe is the lieutenant of the 1st Division. Chojiro has pupil-less eyes, silver grey hair, a small black handlebar mustache with tanned skin. He wears a white jinbaori over a standard Shinigami uniform with long white arm guards. He wears a white turtle-neck under his uniform and has his lieutenant armband on his left arm.
Zanpakuto
Gonryomaru (Solemn Spirit) an average katana with a ornate double-fanned hand guard and a yellowwish-green handle.
Shikai: Its Shikai command is "Bite" (ugate; "pierce" in Japanese materials). In its Shikai, Gonryōmaru transforms into a rapier.

Zanpakuto Spirit Form
Gonryomaru's spirit takes the form of a man dressed as a traveler, or ronin, from Japan's Meiji era, with thunderbolt designs on his shoulders. He has long, black hair covering a cloth wrapped around his forehead. His eyes are completely black and he carries a large, box-like pack on his back, and has a long pike in his hand.
Power and Abilities
Lightning Manipulation: Gonryomaru is able to channel lightning from his pike to attack enemies, as well as summon lightning bolts from the sky. Upon contact, it can create a sizeable explosion. He can also use it to create dark clouds which bring forth rain, which he can use to amplify his ability.
